Early Life and Education
Thembinkosi Lorch was born on the 22nd of July 1993 in Bloemfontein, Free State, South Africa. He grew up with his parents and suitably started his footballing career at Maluti FET College. Thembinkosi Lorch got an interest from the Orlando Pirates while still in school.
Later in 2015, he officially signed a contract with the football club and has played for them on numerous accounts, with loan moves to other South African-based clubs also included.
Lorch attended and completed his primary education at a local school in Bloemfontein, South Africa.
He went to the Tshwane University of Technology after completing his higher education and later attended the University of Johannesburg for further education.
Career
Thembinkosi Lorch always had a strong desire to play football. He started his football career in 2013 while playing for Maluti FET College.
While playing for Maluti FET College, Thembinkosi Lorch received interest from South Africa’s football club “Orlando Pirates.”
Thembinkosi eventually signed for Orlando Pirates in 2015 and has appeared in many of their games.
After numerous registered club matches, Thembinkosi earned a call-up and played for the South African National Team in 2016.
