Bishop Israel Makamu was born on 25 May 1978, in Kattlehong, Gauteng, South Africa, to South African parents Titus Makamu and Rophinia Makamu. Bishop Israel’s father was a pastor and strong preacher of the holy books. He was brought up in the Christian way and learned much from his father before deciding to become a preacher.
