Killer Kau Biography
The Amapiano artist’s mother, Sibongile Makhubu, gave birth to him on July 6, 1998, in Soweto, South Africa, where he grew up. He left behind four siblings, including Sphesihle Makhubu, Siyabonga Makhubu, Gugu Hlatshwayo, and Xolisile Makhubu, all becoming stars. He was always proud of his family and was concerned about their well-being.
When the late Amapiano musician took his matriculation examinations in 2018, he did exceptionally well, passing with flying colors. He was a student at Lavela Secondary School in Zola, a neighborhood in the South African city of Soweto. The budding celebrity was dedicated to his schooling and was ambitious to continue his studies.

Career
The young celebrity grew up passionate about music and used to sing in church choirs as a baritone. At one point in his life, he sang in the Stay PC Church Choir and the African Heavenly Soul Singers male choir. The Amapiano singer first came to public recognition in 2017 after a video clip of the now-popular Tholukuthi Hey! track went viral and drew the attention of DJ and music producer Euphonik, who signed her to his label. He was a senior in high school at the time of the incident. In February 2021, he published his most recent music, Amaneighbour, on the internet.
The song received over 1 million views on YouTube when writing this piece. Amaneighbour had even been nominated for the SA Amapiano Music Awards in the category of Best Amapiano Collaboration, and fans were voting when he was tragically killed in a car accident.

At his death, he was rumored to be romantically involved with an older woman. He had admitted once that he was dating someone older while in Grade 11. Never for once did the late superstar make his dating life public.

Killer Kau Car Accident and Death
In August 2021, Killer Kau and his fellow Amapiano artiste Mpura were involved in a fatal car accident in Marikana. The accident took the lives of six people in total. The N4 at the Marikana toll gate in Rustenburg was confirmed to be the scene of a head-on collision.
