On March 13, 1995, Mr Jazziq was born in Alexandra, Gauteng, South Africa. After his parents moved north of Johannesburg, his grandmother cared for him. He attended Highlands North Boys High School for his studies. That’s all we know thus far about his educational background.

Career

At the tender age of fourteen, he began DJing and making music. Amapiano was one of many genres he produced before teaming up with Josiah, who was already working on it. Together made up the music duo, JazziDisiciples.

His first solo album, “0303,” was released in March 2020. Blue Skies and Hello Mo’Girl were some of the album highlights. In addition to Moonchild Sanelly and Fake Love on “Askies,” RiSA has certified the song a gold record. Kamo MphelaLady Du, and Londie London appeared on his debut EP, For The Babies, released in August of the same year.

Busta 929 and Reece Madlisa collaborated on Maba Jabul’ Abantu, which was released in October 2020 and featured Reece Madlisa, Mpura, Mpura, Riky Rick, and 9umber. He appeared on Busiswa’s My Side of the Story album in November 2020 with the song “Makazi.” “Umsebenzi Wethu” was released in December 2020.

Killer Kau, Reece Madlisa, Zuma, and ThackzinDJ all appeared on his January 5, 2021, song “Amaneighbour.” Good Hope FM’s Top 10 House Chart has the song at number seven. That song “Woza” featured Lady Du, Boohle, and Kabza De Small; he also appeared on Felo Le Tee’s “Nje Nje,” which featured Reece Madlisa, Zuma, Mpura, and Kabza De Small. ‘Party With The English’ was released on April 23, 2021.

What happened to JazziDisciples?

After much deliberation, the members of JazziDisciples decided to separate ways in June 2020, believing it was best for them to concentrate on their respective sounds while remaining close friends.
